Intermezzo : 8th Generation Consoles

HEY GUYS! As you know, we’re entering the new era of gaming, meaning there’ll be a lot of new consoles. Last year, Nintendo has started the battle by releasing WiiU.

WiiU has a touch screen controller, which can be used for portable gaming too! Sounds convinient, huh?

But well actually I’m not really interested in discussing WiiU because as we all know, Sony and Microsoft have the endless rivalry in gaming history. Look at how people debated at PS3 and XBOX360. It was such a popular topic in every gaming forum.

This year, Sony has just announced their new Playstation 4, while Microsoft announced the XBOX One.

At the conference, Sony didn’t reveal their new console, only their new controller, the Dualshock4. While in the other hand, XBOX One revealed them, and give a demo about the multitasking and things.

Both of them also reveal their available games, such as PS4 with it’s Killzone and Destiny, while XBOX One with it’s Quantum Break and Call of Duty:Ghost, which I believe also available on PS4.

I personally vote for PS4, just because I’m a Sony user since I was small and it’s kind of stick with me already. (Sony fangirls unite! lol kidding!)

Wish List: SaGa 3 DS

HI guys, still about RPG, because I am simply a RPG fan B). If you had a Gameboy.... you know, the oldest one which still has black and white color, you'll know Final Fantasy Legend 3. man I love the final battle theme. Final Fantasy Legend I,II,and III was remade to PS2,DS, and finally, DS. and what I'm talking about right now is the Final Fantasy Legend III which is changed into SaGa 3.yes, I think It's quite a good game, from the music, and battle system although I haven't played it a bit.... do you know why??? JAPAN!!!! It's in Japan oh my god, I can't read kanji , how would I enjoy the game if I can't even understand the storyline and just pressing buttons without knowing what even is that for???? I just know the gameplay system and music by just seeing the Final Boss Battle video on youtube........ LOOK HOW I EVEN SPOILING MYSELF... but it's my hobby :D. so, love letter <3 to square enix, the greatest RPG game company, I with some people in the world, is waiting for the US version of SaGa 2 and 3.... yes SaGa 2 is in japan too D: . please notify this post from your beloved fans in other side of the world. thx

Wish List : Bioshock Infinite

Hi! As you guys may have noticed, i’m more of an RPG-person. But today, as you guys see on the title, I will share about Bioshock Infinite, which is a First Person Shooter game.

Bioshock Infinite is available for PC, XBOX360, and PS3. Yay for not being an exclusive! (I’m a little bit tired of exclusives already)

I actually dislike FPS, I feel dizzy just by looking at it. No offence FPS lovers, just my preference. But somehow, while looking at Bioshock Infinite’s gameplay, trailer and reviews, I felt a bit interested in playing it. I don’t know.

Maybe something about it’s city, the Columbia, which look super nice. or maybe the characters with their unique abilities, such as Elizabeth.

Or maybe, because this FPS has some “RPG elements” on it. Oh! and I also like how the characters interact, not the usual “Press x to talk” thingy, if I’m not mistaken, because I see some of it’s walkthrough and it kinda look that way.

Despite of my interest, I might not play this, because I suck at FPS. I meant it. I screamed a lot while encountering enemies, and I don’t think it’s a good idea if I play it. I once played multiplayer FPS with my brother and I can’t stop screaming whenever I saw something on the radar. I guess I’m just not destined to play FPS. 

I’ll just keep bugging my brother to play it and watch him play. Or maybe not.

But I really want to try this game, maybe, just maybe, I might like FPS because of this game. Even if i suck at FPS.

For you guys, especially FPS lovers, just check Bioshock Infinite out! I promise you’ll like it  If you don’t, well……here. *gives you virtual cookie as an apology* (::)

Wish List : Artnia

Wow, it’s June already and we haven’t finish all the features in this blog, sorry for that!

By the way, I have another wish on my list. It’s is going to Japan. As you guys know (or don’t know), Japan is popular for a lot of things, one of them is their themed cafes which is like, almost everywhere in Japan.

Artnia is one of them, and guess what? Artnia is a Final Fantasythemed cafe! How cool is that! And, the cafe is official from Square Enix themselves. That means there’ll be a lot of official merchandise.

A themed cafe is not one without it’s cute foods, and here’s some examples of the food available on Artnia.

A Cloud Parfait!

and Cloud wouldn’t be complete without… Aerith (the strawberry-ribbony parfait) ! next to it is a Blue Materia  drink.

Look at their uber cuteness. If I went there, I wouldn’t be able to eat them before taking a lot of photos, i guess. Do you notice the Buster Sword chocolate miniature on the top of Cloud parfait? IT’S TOO CUTE! *fangirling* and if you took a closer look on the first picture, you’ll see that red tissue have a “Seventh Heaven” logo on it!

But as you can see, a lot of them are especially FFVII related, which is Square Enix most popular FF game. But doesn’t matter, it’s still is Final Fantasy!

There’re still some other FF themed foods and drinks, such as Chocobo/Cactuar Pancakes, Lattes, Summon-based-drinks, and… yeah you’ve got the idea, right?

Sadly, some people said that the foods are quite pricey. Like 900Yen for a Parfait or something.

While Coki is being productive by reviewing lots and lots of game, me here just sitting in front of my laptop dreaming about a vacation to Japan. sigh.

Final Fantasy Dimensions Boss: Vata

Hi Guys, as a fan of Final Fantasy games, I sometimes wondering randomly on youtube finding boss battle videos without reason, just as a random fan activity :D. by the way, I found a pretty good video from the game Final Fantasy Dimensions available on playstore and appstore. this game is pretty good, although I just reached the third chapter, it's still early so I can't give a review yet, but it's a great game. and if you search it in youtube or Final Fantasy Wiki, you'll find that this game has countless abilities that's what makes it unique. I stumbled at one good video from a channel (man this guy rocks) about one boss fight against Nil Vata.  great story and music they got there. this is just to share to you, nothing else by the way.

Kingdom Hearts II 100% completion

Hi KH Mania!! I know it's too late to say this, yes this game is quite old now ,but as for you who play Kingdom Hearts II and want to reach 100% completion, here's some tips:

1. The Perfect game consists of especially completing Jiminy's Journal, if you complete it, you'll get the secret ending of Kingdom hearts II
2. It is not necessary , but you can also level up until level 99 and believe me, it's not as hard as you think
3. You can also master other stuffs like summons and forms. if you do, you'll get a lot of helpful abilities

Leveling up: 

if you want to complete all of those three, you gotta have one in mind: don't bother focus on leveling up, it's just wasting your time. Just focus on everything else, you'll get exp after all.

Jiminy Journal:

This Journal completion is a very hard-work-to-do. especially item synthesis and some missions. as I told you before, don't even bother leveling up too. although there are some mission that needs high level and abilities, you can focus at other unimportant stuffs like:

1. Item synthesis: always use sweet memories keyblade wherever you go which give the additional 'lucky-lucky' ability so it's easier to obtain material even when you're randomly wandering around. you can use FAQs, it's really helpfull ya'know.
2. Boss-defeating: this can be skipped for a while unless you already have high stats and abilities, you can also check on youtube.
3. Ansem Report: just follow the story line and don't miss the chests
4. Other junks: just try it, and if you desperate try to find out how in youtube. although some of it needs some ability learned from form mastering like the poster mission in Twilight Town.

Forms and Summons Mastering:

keep using sweet memories to help you with the synthesis work, and check some FAQs, it helps.

Preview - The Simpsons game DS

Hi Nintendo DS mania!! well, if you watch Fox all the time, you should know a cartoon named 'The Simpsons'. if you don't, welcome to the age of stone. The Simpsons has made count-not-less games from the   simple GBA game, till the GTA-style hit and run. the newest game is simply named 'The Simpsons Game' which available in too many consoles such as xbox 360, PS2,PS3, PSP, and the last one is on the DS.

yep, they sure release it in many platforms. one of it as you see is on the best nintendo console ever, NDS. the difference is, in the DS version, the game is almost-totally in 2D. but it's still doesn't reduce the fun. I myself, has completed this game although not 100% with all the challenges and collections, but i can just review this game after all.

Story Line: Great

It has great story line with the simpsons style and all the parodies (damn I love parodies) based on the episodes of The Simpsons. The story line is also the same with all other consoles.

Gameplay: Great

It has a lot of gameplay with impressive countless abilities for each characters based on the simpsons episodes, so it's impossible for you to get bored of this game. The level itself isn't hard, and the game period is shorter than in the other consoles. 

Graphics: Good

I think the graphic itself is good, it's not a problem.
